Dear friends, colleagues and cavers,

The First International Balkan Symposium is organized in 2012, Eskisehir, Turkey. It is indeed a great honour for the Turkish Caving Federation and Eskisehir Cave Research Association to host this important "caving" meeting. This will be a wonderful opportunity to bring all the cavers who are interested, involved and experienced in all the aspects of caving and cave research together.
The meeting will be held in the Eskisehir in 15-18th November 2012.
The program will ensure the participation of the relevant and experienced speakers in different fields of caving, and will be planned to make it attractive to all cavers, with a special emphasis for young participants.
In this context, we would like to request the assistance to all the Balkan and European Caving Societies, together with their leading cavers, to take part in the execution of the programme. This will ensure the success of the Symposium which will be attractive to the majority of caving members and all suggestions will be cordialy welcomed.
The organizing committee will endeavor to provide not just an outstanding program but also a good social program, which will allow all participants to enjoy the friendly atmosphere.
